In what feels like one of the most hyped collaborations that Fortnite has done to date, the highly anticipated arrival of Dragon Ball (DB) has finally arrived today!
EPIC Games have decided to do the legendary Anime series complete justice by giving them the full blown Fortnite treatment: we're talking 4 skins, built-in emotes, a variety of item shop options, in-game challenges, in-game branding with DB images used for the modes as well as having its own tab for quests in the main menu & most importantly to us at Fortnite Creative Insider they have a Creative experience.
EPIC partnered with the very talented studio that is Vysena who brought to life the world of Dragon Ball Super by recreating The Princess Bulma cruise liner as seen in the early episodes of the series (as well as the Battle of the Gods movie). Toei Animation (creators of the Dragon Ball Franchise) have used this Creative Experience as a simple vessel for players to experience various episodes of the Dragon Ball Super series.

See below the promotion & island code to watch Episode 9. All other episodes can be accessed from within this experience and is an identical island with a different episode displayed on the giant screen. One very unique element of this experience is that players are able to use the brand new 'camera focus' ability, which allows them to watch the episode on full screen - so that they're not disturbed visually or sonically by any of the other players in the creative island!
This is a fantastic way for Dragon Ball to reach both a brand new audience by enticing them with a few episodes to gauge their interest as well as exciting older fans of the series.
Further to this simple viewing experience made in Creative, there will also be a full blown open-world adventure style experience themed within the world of Dragon Ball. It will include Capsule Corp, The World Martial Arts Tournament and a lot more. This experience will be available on 19h August and should come along with it's own challenges to unlock some cool and quirky items.
