The 3rd Stripe...

Adidas have once again created a presence within the Fortnite Creative metaverse. In April & June this year, Adidas had launched Fortnite Creative experiences designed by Beyond & TeamUnite. Both of these launches aimed at promoting the Adidas Ozweego sneakers/trainers & were designed using different methods.


As discussed in our last post, there are many ways for brands to enter the Fortnite Creative metaverse and todays post will highlight a new method that hasn't been implemented yet. The first Adidas 'Ozworld' experience was built in the style of a Hub which players could then choose out of 3 single-player experiences to play from there. The second experience was built as an open world, multiplayer experience with a plethora of mini-games and activities for players to enjoy amongst the vast Adidas Ozweego branding.


The 3rd experience, launched yesterday by Alliance Studios, went down a brand new route and one in which brands should take note of. They seamlessly integrated their launch into one of the Studios' most popular games - 200 Level Default Deathrun.



On this occasion, Adidas is promoting their Speedportal Football Boots, and what better way to integrate into the world of Fortnite Creative then to be added into an experience all about speed running. Being labelled as a limited-time takeover, Alliance have added Adidas branding, as well as special gameplay elements linked to the brand, such as their own set of in-game challenges, so their existing playerbase can continue to have fun as normal but effectively with newer in-game content and branding.


This type of integration is one that we've anticipated for a long time but is said to be the first of its kind. Could this be the way forward for your brand to join Fortnite Creative?
