That's right, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon has arrived in Fortnite Creative. An integration that I'm sure nobody could have predicted but one that's still welcomed and adored by the community. Developed by Beyond, this Fortnite Creative experience is one that we could label 'true metaverse' in that players loading into it are instantly transported into New York City. Having visited this exact location myself, right by the Rockefeller Center, I felt a huge sense of nostalgia and joy seeing it all in game.
The Studio have not only built this fantastic reimagined NYC location which hosts plenty of fun activities and mini-games, but they've also developed 2 additional Creative maps that you can load into from this one and they're more elaborate game modes for players to enjoy. One of them takes place inside of the Rockefeller Center and players must explore, parkour and run up the building to make their way into the Tonight Show set. What's even more spectacular about this game mode is that Jimmy Fallon himself narrates many aspects of it, really make it feel immersive and like you're part of his world.
Jimmy has also mentioned that tonight's Tonight Show (literally tonight, 21st Sept) he'll be sharing something to do with this experience. This is huge for Fortnite Creative to be mentioned on such a massive platform such as Jimmy Fallon's and so this will bring a whole heap of attention to the game as well as opening the eyes of people (and businesses) that never knew this side of Fortnite existed.
Honourable mention has to be given to Samsung who sponsored the creation of these maps. They're no strangers to having experiences made within Fortnite Creative and so its great to see them continue to invest. When playing the map you'll find a huge Samsung store as well has many gameplay elements surrounding the Samsung brand, such as getting speed boosts or step counters after collecting the Galaxy Watch 5.
